The News

The annual conference of the Department of Mining and Petroleum Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Al-Azhar University, Cairo, was held in the presence of Mr. Mohamed Mohani, Dean of the College, and Mr. Prof. Ashraf Al-Marakibi, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies, and Mr. Massad Saadawi, head of the department.
In the presence of faculty members and graduates of the department, and M. Mohammed Abdel Raouf, who gave a wonderful lecture on reducing emissions in the torch systems, and also Mr. Eng. Mohammed Al-Shayeb and Mr. M. Hani Shaker and also the students of the department from the SPE Al-Azhar team and the MA Al-Azhar team who participated in presenting their activities during the conference.
The top students of the department were honored in the first semester, as well as the boards of directors of the student teams. A workshop was also held on ways to advance the educational process in the department.
